I used this food processor for easy cabbage and carrot shredding and chopping Although it is a low carb recipe, you can substitute the all purpose flour to make it more keto friendly. You can sub for Almond flour, coconut flour, Gluten free flour or any of your preferred keto flour. 1:1

Would this recipe work in an air fryer? I'm going to make them either way, just thought I would ask. Thanks
Absolutely! For the air fryer I suggest to line the cooking tray/basket with parchment paper. Af at 400 3 minutes per side or until done and golden brown
Thanks I'm doing this tonight!
They came out amazing in air fryer. I wanted to attach a pic, but I don't know how.
Ahh so great to know. I would love to see your picture. Unfortunately blog does not have this ability to attach a pic. Are you on Facebook? Please welcome to join my Air Fryer group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2497325623862389 and please post a picture there? I will be able to see. Thank you for getting back to me
The ingredient list says baking powder but you said soda in the directions, which one is it?
Is it Baking powder or Baking Soda?
You should change the ingredients in the recipe! I wouldn't have known the right one had I not read this.
Updated the recipe. Thank you for your note. Please let me know if you tried them?
Thanks, I will. They sound really good.
It has carrot, onion, white flour and sour cream.. individually these ingredients are ok in small quantities on the keto diet. Together like this they all add up.. while this "might" be considered a keto friendly dish to some, it's not really unless this is the only carbs you plan to eat for that day and only a smallish portion.
They look great but I don’t like sour cream. What would be the best substitute? Thanks
Mayonnaise and yogurt is a good substitute.
Or you can leave them out.
Definitely not Keto friendly as another comment. I'll probably try them with some substitutes as they sound good...no carrots, onion and garlic powder and coconut flour. Coconut flour cannot be used 1:1 for other flours, so will only add a bit to get the correct consistency. I see there is a question on baking soda or powder and both are in the recipe. Ok, maybe I'll just delete both!!!
Can I use coleslaw mix instead of chopping up the lettuce and carrots? I want to add shrimp to the patties as well.
Yes, absolutely, you can use coleslaw mix. Adding shrimp to the patties is a Wonderful idea!
