Hi! I’m Irina Davey.
I’m the mom who loves to cook, the “face” behind DailyYum.com, the author, and the recipe developer!
In 2013 I started my blog with a simple purpose in mind: to share simple and delicious recipes - some of which were passed down generations in my family, and give helpful advice to fellow cooks.
I truly enjoyed creating recipes and helping others cook delicious meals. Watching people enjoy the recipes and dishes that I put together was incredibly satisfying. My food blog then became a passion for me since it combined three things I love: storytelling, cooking, and my passion for photography!
Here you will find Keto and Low-carb recipes, Instant Pot recipes, and lots of Air Fryer Recipes. I recently became obsessed with air fryer cooking. I’ve found that it not only drastically cuts down on my cooking time - sometimes I can cook an entire meal in less than 15 minutes! - but also producing much healthier dishes; It simply makes everything easier - and tastier too!
I started a public Air Fryer Group on Facebook as a place to save my own recipes and to share what I cook in my air fryer daily…hence "DAILY YUM". It turned into a friendly community of over half a million people who appreciate the modern convenience and health benefits of air fryers. On the group page, I welcome fellow members to ask questions, share recipes and experiences, provide tips and advice on getting the most out of their machines, and more.
How about you?

For the low carb cheesecake recipe made in the instant pot can I just put the pecans on bottom of pan and not bake? Thanks

Hi there
I am from Brisbane Australia with a trip to NYC booked at the end of July. Just wondering if you have any tips for experiencing the city with a 4yr old.
Thanks so much

Hi there, I found this blog because i had typed in Keto zuchini banana bread. I subscribed so i could leave a comment on that post but the website kept having an error. Anyway, I just wanted to say that using real bananas in the recipe disqualifies this as keto. It maay be "low carb" , but one banana has 27 grams of sugar. So 27x 2 is 54 carbs divided into however many slices on top of the other carbs from the other ingredients, it truly wouldnt be a right fit for a person on a TRUE keto diet. You would use half your days worht of carbs for one slice!
Anyway, maybe mentioning the amount of banana extract drops needed instead of the banana would help. Also cranberries even being in the pictures is going to deter any keto diet person from reading because we know how much sugar is in just one cranberry...
Thanks..

I just made the Low Carb Chips with the egg whites and cheese. The taste was excellent; however, I will probably have to throw my mini-non stick muffin pan away. They stuck horribly even though I greased them very well. Maybe I over-cooked them. I only did 10 minutes.

When making the loaded potato soup, do you add the amount of water on the onion soup package when adding to the recipe? In other words add that much water to the amount of broth in the recipe?
Thanks

Hi Irina,
I am putting together an Air-Fryer Bookazine for Anthem Publishing (UK) and I was hoping to feature some of your recipes. Would this be something you'd be interested in? We would of course provide a full link and credit.
I look forward to hearing from you
Cheers

Hope you’re having a great day so far!
We need to get back to seasonal eating and celebrating the local produce, fruits, and veggies that grow where we live (wherever we are in the world). Part of reintroducing this way of life is to cultivate our own food and believe it or not, it’s easy to do even if you’re tight on time, space, and money.
What great tips are there for growing your own fruit and veg on a budget? I’d like to share a few with you.
Formerly I worked within the real estate industry, though lately, I’ve become a freelance writer, this is a subject that’s close to my heart, and it’d be great to share some of my knowledge on the topic with you.
I’d love to write an article for {{dailyyum.com}} on fantastic tips for growing your own fruit and veg on a budget. I was looking at {{dailyyum.com}} while researching an article and it crossed my mind that your audience would welcome a blog post on this idea because it’s a great idea to have lots of wise ideas to keep your food costs down. All I’d ask for in return is a mention of a site I’ve worked on before within the resources.
I’d also be happy to write around any other ideas you had too. Of course, the article will be tailored to your existing content and fully referenced for accuracy.
Would it be OK for me to send an article to you?
Best regards,
Karoline
