These air fryer egg rolls are the perfect snack or appetizer! They're crispy, delicious, and so easy to make.

How to make Air Fryer Egg rolls.
- You need to get the egg roll wrappers
- Make stuffing for your egg rolls
- Have fun wrapping, frying and then enjoying the deliciousness and crunch!
For the egg roll wrappers, I used the Nasoya Egg roll wraps. They can be found at any supermarket in the refrigerated section. Sometimes it is available on Amazon. Also, be sure to check the Nasoya website and they will tell you exactly where to get the wraps in your area.
Ingredients
- 1 lbs. ground beef (or ground meat of your choice)
- 1 bag pre-shredded coleslaw mix (can sub for 3 cups finely chopped cabbage and shredded carrots)
- ¼ cup broth (beef, chicken or vegetarian)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 TBS soy sauce or to taste (Can sub for low-sodium soy sauce)
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced (can sub with 3 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste)
- 2 TBS fresh grated ginger (can sub with 1 TBS ground ginger or to taste)
- 1 tsp granulated onion.
- ½ tsp pepper or to taste
- ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice
- green onions, chopped, for serving
- 1 TBS oil for frying (I use avocado oil)
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over a medium-high heat.
- Add onions and sauté until caramelized (10 minutes)
- Add garlic, ginger and sauté until fragrant
- Add meat. Break apart until meat is browned and cooked through.
- Drain the fat (if any, optional)
- Add Five spice, other seasonings, soy sauce, and stir.
- Add ¼ cup broth, a package of coleslaw, stir lightly, and cover the pan with the lid.
- Lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes
- Cool down a little and then it's time to stuff the egg roll wrappers!
- Spoon approximately 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto each egg roll wrapper and fold according to package directions, using the beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrappers.
- Arrange stuffed egg rolls in the air fryer basket
- Air fry at 380 F for 7 minutes. Open air fryer, take the basket out and flip the egg rolls on the other side and fry for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown. They should look like in the picture below.
- Let the egg rolls cool a little.
- Enjoy! Dip with your favorite sauce. I used Thai Peanut sauce.
Another filling suggestions
I used very simple ingredients for filling so that beginners can also cook.
But if you want some variations, you can also use chicken instead of beef, add green capsicum, and boiled chopped eggs for the filling. But follow the same spices that I mentioned above because the light spices enhance the taste of vegetables and meat inside.

To get perfectly sealed air fryer egg rolls, start by folding up the bottom corner of the wrapper. Next, bring the two side corners together in the center and moisten with water. Finally, roll up from the bottom until it is sealed shut. For extra security, you can use a toothpick to secure the seam.
You can also use all-purpose flour paste to seal the egg rolls. Take one tablespoon of all-purpose flour, add some water and make a paste. Now you can apply this paste to seal the rolls.

Reheat in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for a few minutes until crisp. You can also freeze air fryer egg rolls for up to three months.
