It's definitely a winner! My favorite part of this recipe is the fact that it's beyond easy! In under 10 minutes, you have a handled dinner that the whole family will enjoy! My kids are obsessed.
Ingredients
- 1 french bread baguette, cut in half and halved lengthwise
- ½ cup pizza sauce.
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 20 pepperonis, quartered.
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
Directions
- Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees.
- Place the french bread in the air fryer and toast for 3 minutes. I love to toast on air fry mode.
- Evenly spread the pizza sauce on each piece of french bread, sprinkle the cheese evenly among each piece,
- And top with the pepperoni quarters and oregano.
- Carefully place in the air fryer and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and just slightly golden brown. Or until the desired crispiness and caramelization of your choice.
How do you keep pepperoni from flying around in the air fryer?
- Sprinkle a little cheese on TOP of pepperoni.
- Heat the pizza for a minute on a "toast" or "bake" mode. This will ensure that the cheese melts enough to stick the toppings to the top of the pizza. Then proceed with air fry mode as per directions.
- Place a rack over your pizza to stop the toppings from flying around.
- Use the bake option instead of air fry option. For me personally, I love to use air fry option for my pizza, because I feel that nothing beats the crispiness and caramelization of air fryer french bread pizza.

It has been reported in our Air Fryer Facebook group that pepperoni slices are getting blown off pizza and may fly around.
Firstly, all air fryers are different and their fans run at different speeds, so this may not be the issue for all fryers. But if it does happen in your air fryer, here are some easy fixes:
- Sprinkle a little cheese on TOP of pepperoni.
- Heat the pizza for a minute on a "toast" or "bake" mode. This will ensure that the cheese melts enough to stick the toppings to the top of the pizza. Then proceed with air fry mode as per directions.
- Place a rack over your pizza to stop the toppings from flying around.
