The air fryer lamb rib chops turn juicy, tender, and packed full of flavor, with the yummy top crust. A perfect meal for guests and weeknight dinners; ready within 10 minutes.
Air Fryer Lamb Chops
I love bone-in lamb chops because they have more delicious meat than the other meat parts of the lamb. It is because of the fat around the lamb ribs.
Lamb Rib chops have a bone attached to them. Not as much meat as regular meaty lamb chops, but that's part of the joy of eating that version of lamb. The meat next to the bone is a bit fattier, juicer, and tasty. You get an abundance of deliciousness and tantalizing tasty small portions. If you love lamb ribs, you will absolutely love making the entire lamb rack.
Making lamb chops in the air fryer is a faster and more delicious way to cook lamb ribs. You also don't need to marinate it for more than an hour. But if you do, it will turn more delicious.
Why You’ll love Air Fryer Lamb chops?
Healthier: While cooking these lamb chops on the stovetop, you have to add more oil to the pan. In the air fryer, you just need one tablespoon of oil, or you can skip it.
Ready in minutes: It takes just 10 minutes to cook a batch of lamb chops in the Air fryer. Because the heat circulates around the meat, they cook faster than on the stovetop.
Less cooking mess: Cooking lamb chops in the air fryer minimizes the oil splatter and the mess around the kitchen stove. You just need to wipe the air fryer basket and the heating element once the lamb chops are ready and the air fryer cools down. The air fryer machine that I use is Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Grill.

How to cook Lamb Chops
Marinate:

- And you can also place it into the air fryer basket direct without waiting.
- Time to preheat: Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 425F/220C. Some air fryers do not have preheating option. Not to worry. Just run your air fryer empty for 5 minutes.
- Now place the lamb chops directly onto the air fryer basket/tray and give them some space to circulate the hot air around each lamb chop.
- Cook for 5 minutes on air fry setting.
- Turn the lamb chops after 5 minutes with the help of kitchen tongs and cook for another 5 minutes.
Tips for the Best air fryer lamb rib chops
- Try not to overcook the lamb chops. Cook them at a higher temperature. So they will turn juicy and tender inside with caramelized (charred) outer crust.
- Don't cook them for more than 10 minutes because the overcooked meat is not so good in taste and the texture is tough.
- Marinate it before cooking for at least 1 hour, if you have extra time. It will take it to the next level.
- Serve warm. The fat around with the meat becomes congeal when the meat is cooled.
Can I use a different seasoning?
Yes, you can use the seasoning of your choice. Here is another seasoning and herbs suggestions:
- Add cumin, coriander, pepper, salt, lemon juice, vinegar, and a bit of brown sugar.
- Salt, black pepper, and olive oil
- Add cumin powder, thyme, ground red peppers, black pepper powder, and a pinch of citric acid.
What to serve with lamb chops?
You can serve them with dips such as chili dips and yogurt dips and these chops will taste yum with mint pesto sauce.
Serve the air fryer lamb rib chops with baked, mashed, boiled, and air-fried potatoes. Smashed Potato is my favorite side.
The chops pair wonderfully with rice, green salads, and air-fried vegetables such as green beans, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, and broccoli.
