Αir Fryer Salt and Vinegar Chicken Wings Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings (wingettes and drumettes)
- ½ cup distilled white vinegar
- ½ cup of malt vinegar
- ½ cup of water
- 1 ½ Tbsp. of salt (I prefer kosher salt)
- 2 teaspoons dry ranch mix
- 1 Tablespoon sugar ( I use Monk Fruit 1:1 Sugar substitute for a keto version)
- 1 teaspoon of coarse ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar (optional). For those who love to add the Balsamic vinegar taste
Instructions:
- Put all the ingredients into a gallon freezer zip lock bag; Soak the chicken wings in vinegar by adding them to the bag for 2-4 hours (the longer they stay in the bag, the better the flavor). Alternatively, you can place the chicken wings into a large glass bowl, cover it with a lid, and put it in the refrigerator.
- Drain the wings and pat dry (I let them sit for about 15 minutes on a paper towel).
- Next, turn your air fryer on at 400° degrees Fahrenheit (200° degrees Celcius). Lightly spray or brush your wings with olive oil & cook for 20 minutes. Turn the wings once at the 10 minutes mark.
- Keep an eye on your wings; remove them when they have a nice golden brown outer crust. Then, add the rest of the wings and cook exactly as above.
- Use your preferred dipping sauce and enjoy warm (no spoons necessary)!
