Air fryer ravioli is a quick and easy way to make a delicious snack or appetizer, without the guilt. The crispy Panko-crusted breaded ravioli recipe is ready within 10 minutes without making lots of effort in the kitchen.
My kids absolutely love air-fried ravioli! I think it's because they love crispy, breaded things, and ravioli fits that bill. It’s so much fun for them to eat too - you can pop the crispy little pillows of pasta in your mouth whole, or use a fork to jab at them and make a little earthquake on your plate. My kids also love dipping their ravioli in sauces, which is another reason why this dish is a winner in our house. I serve to them with classic Marinara sauce while making this Chipotle dip for my toasted ravioli.
How to Make Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli
To make air fryer breaded ravioli, simply coat cooked ravioli in a beaten egg, then cover in bread crumbs. Place the ravioli in the air fryer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1 (16-ounce) package of frozen ravioli
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup parmesan
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Oil spray
- 1 cup marinara
Directions
Prepare Ravioli: Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook the frozen or refrigerated ravioli according to the directions on the package. Drain and set aside to cool.
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F (182°C)
Eggs: In a small bowl, whisk together the two eggs.
In a medium bowl: Add the panko, parmesan, and Italian seasoning, mixing together.
Coat with breadcrumbs mixture: Now pick one ravioli at a time, dip into the eggs, then into the breadcrumb mixture, patting down to ensure they stick. Repeat with the remaining ravioli.
Place 12-15 ravioli in the air fryer, spritz with the oil spray, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Flip the ravioli, spray with more oil, and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Repeat with the remaining ravioli until they are all done.
