In a previous post I wrote about St. Patrick’s Day arts and crafts ideas that you can do yourself at home. Now I would like to talk about another topic related to St. Patrick’s Day and that is food. Let me ask everyone what kind of food comes to your mind when you think about St. Patty’s Day? I bet most people will say things like corn beef and cabbage, potatoes, chicken potpie, or soda bread. Well yes some of those are traditional Irish meals but I’m going to share with you some great recipes that will surely be mouthwatering.
For starters lets jump right to desserts and introduce you to a mouthwatering Guinness Chocolate Cheese Cake. Now you may be wondering about this one but I can assure you this cake is creamy and delicious. The combo of Guinness and chocolate is very interesting and tasty. Don’t worry you don’t have to like Guinness to enjoy this cake. Now I also have to talk about one of the traditional Irish recipes that I mentioned above and that are Corned Beef and Cabbage. If you have had it before but didn’t care for it then you most likely haven’t tried this recipe. If you were looking for something more traditional I would give this recipe a try. Below are a bunch of other recipes (mostly desserts) that you may want to give a shot. As always your feedback is much appreciated as well as sharing your own recipes.
