Air fryer S'mores - An Easy Modern Twist on a Classic Treat

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Graham cracker squares
  • 2 Large marshmallows
  • 2 oz Chocolate 2 pieces of Chocolate - Milk, dark, or your preference. I used square dark chocolate.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
    Prepare the S’mores: Break the graham crackers in half to create 4 squares. Cut the marshmallow in half and place the sticky side down onto the cracker. If you have a smaller marshmallow, put both halves onto the cracker. Press Marchmallow gently onto the cracker.

  • Air Fry: Carefully place the prepared S’mores in the air fryer basket or tray. Make sure they are spaced out to allow for even cooking.
    Cook: Air fry the S’mores at 350°F for 3-4 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown with a slightly crispy exterior. Be sure to check after 2 minutes to ensure they don't burn or overcook.
  • Assemble: Once done, carefully remove the S’mores from the air fryer and place chocolate on top of two halves. Then place the other two halves on top of chocolate. Press down gently to sandwich everything together.
  • Enjoy: As you take your first bite of the s'more, you can already feel the warmth from the gooey marshmallows enveloping the chocolate inside. As you chew, your taste buds are hit with a perfect combination of sweet and rich flavors. The chocolate begins to melt in your mouth, creating a velvety texture that pairs perfectly with the chewy marshmallows.

One of the best parts of making S’mores is the ability to customize them to suit your taste preferences. Here are some delicious variations to try:
  • Different Chocolates: Swap out the milk chocolate with dark chocolate or white chocolate. I used chocolate with nuts for a delightful crunch in every bite. Adding nuts to your smores elevates them to a whole new level of yumminess.
  • Alternative Cookies: Replace graham crackers with other cookies like digestive biscuits, Oreos, or shortbread for a unique twist.
  • Try Ritz cracker S'more: It was a bit of a shock when I found myself reaching for Ritz crackers instead of graham crackers to use in my air fryer creation. But once I took that first bite, I knew I had discovered something amazing. The salty-savory flavor of the Ritz cracker paired perfectly with the sweet, gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate. It was a whole new world of S'mores deliciousness, and I instantly fell in love.
