During the New York CE Week Suzanne Kantra from Techlicious hosted their 5th annual #Techlicious blogger lunch event. This year the sponsors, Philips and Panasonic, were showing their newest and coolest products.
CE Week, which took place from June 23–25, is a chance for journalists and tech enthusiasts to get a sneak peek at the emerging technologies that are launching in the next year or two. Here are top new products that impressed me the most:
The new Philips ShoqBox Mini
is a wireless portable waterproof bluetooth speaker. I love this little fella, how small it is, sitting in a bowl of water and still playing a powerful sound.
The Philips Shoqbox mini is a highly-portable, rugged, water resistant Bluetooth speaker that can be used at the pool, beach or in the shower. It provides surprisingly robust sound for a speaker of this size, and includes a microphone so that it can double as a speakerphone in your office or on the road. Better yet, the retail price was just reduced to a very affordable $49.95.
The Philips antibacterial screen cleaner
will clean your tech and will leave a nice scent too.
The brand new Panasonic Lumix G7
is a 4K Bluetooth Photo camera that can share photos to your social media sites. It is loaded with features and photo modes.
The revolutionary Panasonic LUMIX G7 offers over 24 compact lens options built on the next generation interchangeable lens camera standard (Micro Four Thirds) pioneered by Panasonic. It’s “mirrorless” design enables lighter, more compact camera body, while also offering cutting-edge video, audio, creative controls, wireless, intelligent-focusing, and exposure technologies not possible with traditional DSLRs. And with our exclusive LUMIX 4K Ultra HD video pause and export as a 4K Photo mode, you’ll never again miss that one shot that perfectly captures a scene.
At the end of the lunch event, there was a raffle and my name was picked as a LUCKY winner! Yes, I’m the lucky owner of this camera. I could not believe. I’m still in shock. I’m the lucky one that will be testing it out soon. Huge thanks to the sponsors and to Suzanne for putting this awesome event together!
Earlier this CE week, HP put an awesome breakfast together, on the rooftop of Nomo Soho Hotel. From the 42nd floor rooftop you can see the fabulous view of New York City. They were unveiling their Back to school collection newest tech and gifted this cool HP Odyssey Backpack that accommodates notebooks up to 15.6” and has a dedicated pocket for a tablet or e-reader.
